    Arts Educators of Iowa is a non-profit organization unified with the National Art Education Association and affiliated with the Iowa Alliance for Art Education and the Association of School Curriculum and Development. Our purpose is to promote excellence in visual arts education in Iowa through advancement of knowledge and skills, professional development, service, and leadership.

  • Humanities Iowa
    Humanities Iowa is the only non-profit organization in Iowa committed to bringing the humanities to life and to the public through interactive programming, publications, and events. We provide grants to aid other non-profit organizations in furthering the humanities in Iowa as well as conduct our own programs in support of the humanities across Iowa.

  • Iowa Cultural Coalition
    The Iowa Cultural Coalition works to properly fund all cultural and historic preservation programs and to provide Iowa communities with essential economic development tools, and educational and cultural resources.

    Founded in 1965, the Iowa Genealogical Society (IGS) is a non-profit educational organization, which seeks to encourage genealogical and historical research.

  • Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation
    A member-supported nonprofit organization that protects Iowa's land, water and wildlife "for those who follow." Since its founding in 1979, INHF has protected more than 70,000 acres, including prairies, wetlands, woodlands, greenways, trails and river corridors. These projects conserve and enhance Iowa's environment, water quality, wildlife, biodiversity, outdoor recreation, tourism and quality of life.

  • Young Iowan Cultural Council
    The Young Iowans Cultural Council is an organization designed for two specific purposes 1) To assist young Iowans in planning, promoting and producing cultural initiatives, activities and events for young adults in Iowa. 2) To communicate with the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs and other state agencies on the interests of young Iowans so that they may choose to live and work in the state.
