This site was created by the Government Printing Office to introduce children to how the government works.  It covers the U.S. Constitution, how laws are made, the branches of government, and citizenship.  The site is divided into sections aimed at grade levels K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12, with a separate section for parents and educators.

The World Factbook
The Factbook is updated annually, and provides a wealth of factual data on countries worldwide.  Many maps are also included.

Test Your Geography Knowledge
This interactive quiz tests your knowledge of where the states are on an outline map of the United States.  There are also quizzes for Canadian provinces and European countries.
