The Center for Disease Control and Prevention is a US government site offering health information for the international traveler such as disease outbreaks and vaccination information.  Offers health information on diseases, health risks, prevention guidelines, and strategies.

Healthfinder, a consumer health and human services site, is sponsored by the US government and "can lead you to selected online publications, clearinghouses, databases, web sites, and support and self-help groups, as well as the government agencies and not for profit organizations that produce reliable information for the public."

Medline, a database provided by the National Library of Medicine, contains bibliographic citations to medical, nursing, dentistry, vet medicine, and health care.  This database is geared to the health professional and is searchable by topic, journal, and author.

This internet drug index provides the top 200, prescribed drugs, and a keyword drug search.  You an find out the drug category, brand names, cost of therapy, box warning, description, chemical pharmacology, indications and usage, contraindications, warnings, precautions, adverse reactions, over dosage, dosage and administration, references, patient package inserts, and how supplied for a given drug.

Provides information on diseases and treatments, pharmacy, medical dictionary, ask the experts, first aid information, poison control centers, medical news archives, health facts archives, and hot topics.
